The Human Resources Division provides the day-to-day human resources management for the department’s almost five thousand employees. HR responsibilities include employment processes, employee training activities, employee counseling assistance, drug and alcohol testing, employee relations activities, classification-compensation issues, recruiting efforts and retirement counseling.
