Joe Galbato is the Chief Financial Officer for TDOT and Deputy Commissioner for the Department. Galbato directs the Administrative Bureau which includes the Central Services Division, Finance Division, Human Resources Division, Information Technology Division, Strategic Planning Office and the Governor's Highway Safety Office.
Previous to joining TDOT, Galbato was Chief Financial Officer for Alive Hospice based in Nashville, Chief Financial Officer of HCCA International, Inc, and has been in several other financial management positions during his career.
The Chief Financial Officer for the Department of Transportation is responsible for the Central Services Division, Finance Division, Human Resources Division, Information Technology Division, Strategic Planning Office and the Governor's Highway Safety Office.
