The Mission of the Local Programs Development Office is to provide a professional,
knowledgeable team ready to assist local agencies in the development and implementation
of transportation improvements within their community.

The Local Program Development Office (LPDO) administers those federal and state funding programs that are available to local governments to improve their transportation systems.
This site includes information regarding Surface Transportation, Enhancement, Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement, Spot Safety, Local Interstate Connector, State Industrial Access Road, Interchange Lighting and Bridge Replacement.
The site also has procedural information, such as how to advertise a federally-funded project and how to request reimbursement for eligible local expenditures.
