I-65 South Bound, take Exit 108 White House (Highway 76), turn left, go to 2nd red light, turn left onto Richard Wilks Road, go to red light, turn left, Welcome Center is Suite 1200 next door to Verizon Wireless. 615.325.4721

The Giles County Welcome on I-65 N. is closed due to re-construction. It is represented by the number 27 on the map. Below are directions to the temporary site.

I-65 North Bound, take Exit 1, turn right, go 1.8 miles South Welcome Center will be on the right. 931.468.2654

The Hamilton County Welcome Center on I-24 E. is closed due to re-construction. It is represented by the number 22 on the map.

The Department of Transportation maintains 19 rest areas and 14 welcome centers across the state. These facilities provide a comfort stop for the weary motorist, as well as provide tourist information.

These facilities are open and staffed 24 hours per day, seven days per week, except for the Shelby County
Welcome Center at Riverside Drive, which closes each evening. Locations are listed below:

  • All rest areas and welcome centers are open and staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year (except for the Shelby County Welcome Center at Riverside Drive, which closes each evening).

  • Public restrooms and vending machines are available at all times.

  • No dump stations are located at any of these locations.

  • No overnight parking is allowed. There is a two-hour parking limit.
