The Comprehensive Inspections Office primary focus is on highway and bridge construction projects through oversight of the Quality Assurance/Quality Control Program Water. The Inspections Office provides oversight for environmental issues that may arise during a construction project. It also works closely with the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) and other regulatory agencies involved with oversight of our construction and maintenance activities as related to:
- NPDES Construction Storm Water Permits
- Aquatic Resource Alteration Permits (ARAP)
- USCOE 404 Permits
- TVA 26(a) Permits
