The Latest on the Henley Project

Henley Update, May 21, 2012:

Work continues on Knoxville’s Henley Bridge rehabilitation project.

On the south end, the cap concrete pour on Pier #7 is complete and beams are being set from Abutment B to Pier D.  Re-construction and repairs at span #6 also continues in this area.

On the north end, the remaining columns and caps are being completed at Span #1 and #2 along with ongoing re-construction and repairs at Pier #1 and #2.

The lane shifts on Neyland Drive remain in place in order to allow for the repairs and re-construction at Span #1, Span #2 and Pier #2.  These lane shifts will remain in place until August 17th.
