The Latest on the Henley Project

Henley Update, January 27, 2012:

Work on the Henley Bridge continues with new substructure components being erected on the North end of the project, and concrete repairs continuing on the South end. This work is being done in preparation for new bridge resurrection. Demolition of the remaining bridge items near the greenway and railroad is still ongoing. New bridge components are becoming more visible as this work continues.

  • Contractor: Britton Bridge, LLC, Mt. Juliet, Tennessee
  • Amount: $24,696,969.47
  • Henley Bridge Closures: No interruptions
    to vehicle/pedestrian traffic before January 3, 2011
  • Completion in Entirety: June 30, 2013
  • Bonuses:
    • Completed by 12-31-12---$1,000,000
    • Completed by 2-15-13---$750,000
    • Completed by 3-31-13---$500,000
    • Completed by 5-15-13---$250,000
