Drilling
The Geotechnical Engineering Section has
drilling staffs based in Nashville and Knoxville. Drillers work on a
variety of projects in all of Tennessee's 95 counties, working on
both land and water. Two barges are maintained for drilling in lakes
or streams with deep water. Wherever water is shallow, the crews
work directly in the water.
