The schedule that the Pavement Management data is collected is as follows:
- Regions 1 & 2: IRI/Rut and Distress data is collected for Interstates and State Routes in even number years. Only the Interstate IRI/Rut is collected in odd number years.
- Regions 3 & 4: IRI/Rut and Distress data is collected for Interstates and State Routes in odd number years. Only the Interstate IRI/Rut is collected in even number years.
The Interstate system has IRI collected on it every year because they are the most important part of our roadway network. Interstate IRI is also one of TDOT’s performance measures that have to be reported annually.
