James White Parkway Reopening Ceremony

Knoxville, TN. --- Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) Commissioner Gerald Nicely will join Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam, Knox County Mayor Mike Ragsdale and state and local officials to officially reopen James White Parkway on Friday, September 21 at 10:00 a.m. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on the James White Parkway Bridge over Jackson Avenue (map attached). TDOT closed James White Parkway in December 2006 for the demolition and reconstruction of ramps, bridges and roadways as part of the continuing SmartFIX40 project.
