Tennessee River Ferry Service Begins Tomorrow

Nashville, Tenn. – Representatives from the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will join state and local leaders on Friday, November 16 for the introduction of ferry service across the Tennessee River in Benton and Houston Counties.

The event will begin at 9:00 am on the Houston County side of the Tennessee River, just off State Route 147, and will last approximately one hour.

From Nashville: I-40 West to Exit 172, north on Hwy 46, left on SR 49, left on SR 147, right on Ferry Rd.

From Memphis: I-40 East to Exit 143, north on Hwy 13, left on SR 49, left on SR 147, right on Ferry Rd.

Special Note: A pre-event opening will be held on the Benton County side of the Tennessee River, and will be followed by the main grand opening event on the Houston County side.
