Traffic Flow Modified on James White Parkway Ramp to I-40 Eastbound

Knoxville, TN. --- The Tennessee Department of Transportation advised today that on Thursday, May 8, the tunnel under Hall of Fame Drive will be closed.  Northbound traffic on James White Parkway (JWP) will be routed directly onto the ramp to Hall of Fame Drive to reach I-40 East.

This closure, which will be in effect for the duration of the SmartFIX40 project in downtown Knoxville, is necessary for the construction of new I-40 bridges over First Creek.
