Fund is Established for Children of TDOT Shooting Victim
TDOT Employees and others have called asking where to donate

Nashville, Tenn.-A fund has been established for the children of slain Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) worker Donna Renee Jordan at the request of her co-workers.

Jordan, who was 31-years old, was killed along with two other people on Tuesday, January 11. Her husband, David Jordan, was arraigned in court on Thursday, January 13, in Jackson on murder charges. In all, 5 people were shot at approximately 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at TDOT’s garage facility at Benchmark Place in Jackson, Tennessee. Two TDOT mechanics survived and are now recovering at home.

According to TDOT officials, employees and citizens have called the Department asking if donations were being accepted on behalf of Jordan’s two children. Jordan has two children, a son, Tyler, age 13, and a daughter, Sidney, age 4. Both children are now with relatives. In response to those requests, a trust-fund operated through the TDOT credit union, has been established.
