The Project Planning Division is one of four divisions under the Chief of Environment and Planning. This Division is comprised of four offices: Short Range Planning Office, Conceptual and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Planning Office, Project Safety Office and Travel Data Office. It is the goal of this Division and its Offices to provide planning level transportation reports, information and experience that will support the transportation project development process. Project Planning Division will accomplish this goal by the collection and analysis of critical data, investigating possible options and impacts as they relate to the project, and by managing the efforts of our staff, engineering consultants and project stakeholders in a responsible and effective manner that supports the mission of TDOT’s Strategic Management Plan.
