Public Hearing- Spring 2012

The National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Public Hearing scheduled for March 22, 2012 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Indian Springs Baptist Church in Kingsport has been cancelled. The meeting will be rescheduled

This Public Hearing is being held in order to provide the public an opportunity to provide input on the approved DEIS prior to completion of the final environmental document (FEIS).  A brief presentation will be followed by a question and answer period.  Representatives from TDOT will be present to address questions pertaining to the general location of the alternatives, and the social, economic, and environmental impacts of the proposed improvements.  TDOT will also have representatives available to answer questions on the relocation assistance program, the tentative schedule for right-of-way acquisition and construction.

The public is invited to ask questions and make comments during the hearing and will be given the opportunity to make their opinions known concerning the need for the project and any other issues.  Anyone with questions regarding this hearing may contact:
