The following maps show the recommended alignment for the proposed Knoxville Regional Parkway.  The Key Map shows the entire project and the areas covered by each of the eight design section maps.   The maps may be downloaded and printed or viewed on a computer.  Click on the links below to download the maps.

The section maps show proposed road with yellow lines.  Centerlines are thick and may have tick marks spaced every 100 feet along their length.  Edge of pavement lines are thinner and are on either side of the centerlines.  The thick yellow lines that are farthest from the centerline are the estimated right-of-way lines.  This would be the location of the fence that runs along both sides of the road.  The zig-zag lines that are located between the centerline and right-of-way lines and alternate between solid and dashed are the estimated construction limits.  Solid lines indicate the top of a cut slope and dashed lines indicate the bottom of a fill slope.  The twin red lines that meander along the route are the proposed location of a multiuse path or trail.  The location is dependant on willing landowners donating an easement for the path to the Knox County Parks Department.  Property lines are pale green.

The property lines and owner's names shown are from various records in 2003 and may not accurately show the property boundaries. Actual property lines will be field located by surveyors when preparing final design plans. If a property owner's name does not fit inside the boundary, an arrow or a reference number may be used. The reference numbers are not lot numbers.
