| The recently established Traffic Operations Division is part of the Top to Bottom implementation. It will incorporate the Traffic Engineering Office and the Incident Management Office. This office will provide policy and guidance to all four (4) regional TMC and HELP operations to provide consistency across the state, similar to how headquarters Construction and Maintenance interact with the regions. Day-to-day operations will remain the responsibility of the Regions, however, this new division will be involved in promotional and hiring decisions that affect the Intelligent Transportation System, TMC and HELP operations. |
