TDOT uses twitter to provide motorist information to those who wish to receive it. Twitter is a tool we are use to get information to motorists about our interstates and state roads. This information is also available at TDOT SmartWay website and the Tennessee 511 system (dial 511).
Select routes you'd like to receive motorist information on by following these steps. We do not respond directly to our followers.

Important: TDOT strongly encourages drivers to refrain from texting, tweeting or calling from a vehicle you are operating. Have your passenger get the information or "Know before you go!" Please use our services responsibly.
