State Route 28 (US-127)
Project Timeline
Transportation projects are developed in four phases. The following is a summary of the past and future phases of the roadway project.
- Planning and Environmental Phase - The planning phase is complete. The Environmental Document is being prepared by the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA).
- Design Phase - Design plans are underway.
- Right-of-Way Phase - The Right-of-Way phase is complete.
- Construction Phase - Funding for construction was budgeted for Fiscal Year 2010.
The Design and Right-of-Way Phases are essentially complete. Construction is pending additioinal Environmental Coordination and the completion of the Final Environmental Document.
